Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of exotic fruit, caramel, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of exotic fruit, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish

Can (6/27/21) pour from 1897 Market, Charlotte Airport. It's a hazy dark yellow with tons of sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with excellent retention and nice rings of lacing. Aroma is moderately strong dank, tart fruit with milder candy sweetness. Taste is strong, dank citrus and grapefruit with mild offsetting candy sweetness. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, competent all around but aroma and taste are not super exciting. Good but not great.

On the sweet side, but with a name like Mountain Candy it’s to be expected. Generous notes of mandarin, lemon drops, pineapple, and peach, but the finish offers up pine and minerals for balance. Not a bad IPA, and makes a surprisingly solid black-n-tan with Left Hand Milk Stout.

The aromas are slightly old grapefruit and resin hops with hints of spice. Flavors are similar to nose, nice balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Long grapefruit finish. Decent enough beer.

Definitely a candy vibe. Not sure about the mountain. Golden pour with decent head, lacing. Lots of caramel and booze here. Bittersweet finish. Tap at en su boca.

Ever so slightly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish, off-white head, only one centimetre tall. Aroma of literal candy (not mountain? candy) with a lot of fruit, caster sugar, resin, flowers, hay, oranges, mangoes and even some pineapple. Medium-bodied; Deep fruity hop notes show very strongly with a lot of curacao, full oranges, mangoes, dragonfruit and papaya notes hitting at first with a good deal of leftover fruit and sweetness, some light dry and floral notes towards the end with a great balance of malt and some light hop bitterness at the end, but very mild. Aftertaste is elegant and layered with fruit and malt - no bittering flavours at all, just a great balance of sugar, malt and fruit - very nice and incredibly mild as a hoppy IPA! Overall, a very nice and smooth, fruit-based IPA without actual fruits in the mix! Great to sample, way better than I was expecting and nice for the style! Drink fresh if you can find this one! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 06-March-2020 for US$3,75 sampled at home in Washington on 14-March-2020.
