Our Naughty 90 Oaked IPA was inspired by ocean bound, oak barreled brews of the 1800’s. Packed with hops on a 90-minute schedule, uniquely malted, then aged on a bed of oak, this IPA delivers a taste that is both innovative and timeless.
Admin Note: Brewed as an IPA through 2016. In 2017 marketing switched to an Oaked Ale. This entry is the for the Naughty 90 IPA.

Tap at Brickhouse. Deep opaque brown body. Creamy beige head. Sweet and malty. Kind of sugary. Big, rich flavors. Has a roasty quality not unlike a stout at times. Quality ingredients, but sort of overloaded. Sweet brown ale, too sweet really. More on par with hoppy TG lineup. Diabetes brown ale.

Bottle thanks to Minh. Pours a cloudy amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong nutty malt and oak. Medium mouthfeel with strong bready malt, oak, caramel, resin hop coming thru in the finish. Good.

Tap. Pours cloudy amber, small of white head, good lacing. Aroma is caramel, oak, tannins, brown sugar, a bit of pine. Flavor follows, medium sweet, light bitter, lots of malt sugars, vanilla, oak, bitterness without much hop flavors. Woody. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Interesting, but not an IPA.

On draft at the the brewpub. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Nutty nose. Flavors of oak and sea salt with caramel notes. Hops are very subdued. Somewhat smoky finish. Interesting.

Not as good as the Sue, but still solid. Hermal aroma with caramel. Very light bourbon. Lightly sweet. Medium palate. Solid.
