La Porter Gourmande Café allie la force des arômes chocolat et café des malts torréfiés avec la douceur subtile des gousses de vanille ajoutées lors du brassage. Cette version a bénéficié de l’ajout à l’embouteillage d’une extraction à froid d’un café élaboré par Coutume, qui a sélectionné au Brésil les fèves Catuai Rouge de João Hamilton d’une qualité exceptionnelle pour les torréfier en France.

Bottle shared thanks to Scott. Pours very dark brown with a minimal beige head. Aroma of ground coffee, a little green, roast and dark chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Vanilla showing up lightly in the palate. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle at THT thanks to Scott. Hazy dark brown with minimal off white head. Quite some coffee, old coffee, chocolate, light vanilla, roasted malts and some minerals towards the finish. Medium sweet with roasted bitter finish. Medium bodied with slick feel and barely any carbonation.

Bottle at craig’s. Pours deep brown, nose is toffee, light, roasted, taste is sweet, sugary, chocolate,thin.

33 cl bottle. Pours dark brown with a huge tan head. Aroma is roasted, breadish and dark malty. Breadish, chocolate and malty. Smooth roasted, vanilla, caramelish and toasted malty. Bitter and toasted. Dry and toasted malty finish.

At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly head, very cloudy to murky brown, foul aroma of stale vanila bean with a hint of barnyard and something medicinal, flavor of stale grains and dusty bitterness, some sourness that is out if place. probably old and not enjoyable.
