Pours lightly hazy gold. Citrusy and tropical fruit aroma. It tastes of tropical fruit, some hop resin, and good, aggressive bitterness. Very good ipa.

Super clear coloured body with peach and orange tints and a deeper golden glow with a thinnish, single to two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of deep, floral, grassy and very herbal hops with a dry and bitter bite that has a great scent with some tropical fruit notes thrown in as well. Medium-bodied; Strong dry and grassy flavours at first with a bitter, floral and perfumey hop characteristic with a dry bite and some smoother, tropically fruity sweetness with a hint of citrus towards the end. Aftertaste is very well-balanced with a nice dry characteristic, but the biting hops and resulting bitterness are well-structured against the supporting malts that go down fairly easily, all with a pleasant, light sweetness that provides balance as well. Overall, a very nice beer as I was expecting from AleSmith with a nice pungency, but easy-to-drink quality. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 02-November-2020 for US$3,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 07-December-2020.

Some citrus, ok malt. Golden pour with good lacing, not so much head. Light bitter end. Not much here. Tap at Alesmith.

Pour is a chill haze gole with a small white head. Aroma is grapefruit and pine hops. This just smells bitter. Flavor is all citrus fruit hops with the accompanying bitterness. Maybe a little thin but this is a perfect example of 2005 IPA.
