A green can. Big bitter taste. Big foaming head on yellow clear beer. Typical IPA. Yes, so many of these and they practically all taste the same. May be one of the last IPA I try: No lie. Just can't get used to the terrible on style nature of these super bitter beers. How can anybody think real IPA is smooth light malts and easy to drink, come now.....

Nordic pint showing straw with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows intense notes of pine, pineapple, and pine resin. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied with a resinous mouthfeel. Moderately intense flavors of pine resin throughout with a subtle bitterness on the finish.

Can from 8 Degrees Plato. Pours a clearish straw gold color with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Very biscuit forward nose with notes, of yeast, lemon, pith, honey and some earthiness. Medium body, good carbonation with more lemon, honey and biscuit malt notes. Light but with a nice balanced body. Clean and crisp with more lemon, earth, leaf, and peppery hop notes on the finish.

12 ounce can. Pours a clear yellow golden hue with a medium white head. A light really husky malty nose. Sweet, mlaty, caramel, something like a dark cherry, funky hops. Solid.

Canned April 15. Gold with a large white head that lasts very well. Aroma of Seville orange, light bread, some gooseberry, green mango. The malt is even lighter on the palate making it pretty thin and the fruit nudge up on tinny. Moderately sweet before a clean and moderately bitter finish. A refined piece of brewing in the sense that I'm enjoying it but have nearly forgotten it already.

On tap at AleSmith, pours a hazy copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, biscuity malt and some bitter pine. Flavour is along the same lines, with bitter piney hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Piney, bitter and crisp. Not a bad beer, but not a lot of depth. Good stuff.
