Pour is more of a cloudy gold with a large white head. Aroma is some cracker pils type malt with a melon and minty hop. Flavor is a nice and dry cracker malt followed by some melon and herbal green tea. Not much bitterness and a nice fresh mint is left on the tongue. This was a nice and different IPA. I agree with the rating below that I wish they would have told us what malt and hops were used but that is a minor complaint.

12oz bottle. Would have been nice if they had specified which malts and hops they utilized. A pretty solid IPA, with a lot more malt character than most US examples. The hops are pretty pleasant, approaching juicy, but still some grassy bitterness too. Enjoyable, well executed beer.

Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a mostly clear orange gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Lovely biscuity malt aromas with dried grass, pepper and citrus notes. Dry on the palate with good balance between malt and hop. Lingering arugula, grass and light pine and citrus on the finish with some floral hop notes as it warms. Good bitterness. Highly drinkable with a dry finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of I : Song of Myself (Leaves of Grass Series) on 26 Jun 2019 at 15:07 - Score: 7

Bottle. Light golden body with a frothy, white head, lasting. Aroma of lemon, grass, floral hops, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Taste of citrus, grass, floral hops. Neither the bitterness nor the sweetness dominate. Clean and crisp. A good beer for loafing and contemplation.

Very soft, very gentle IPA, mellow in texture and hoppiness, with a mild cracker-pilsner malt base and easygoing citrus-floral hops. Creamy texture is to die for, but otherwise a very understated, unobtrusive IPA.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 5/10/2019. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, mango, melon, berries, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, mango, melon, berries, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, mango, melon, berries, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an excellent American IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink, with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not overly aggressive. The hop profile was pretty much what I expected. Feels like a mix of Hallertau Blanc and classic noble varieties. Very vibrant, dank, earthy, and fairly juicy hop complexity; with a great clean pale malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected of the brewery. Pretty unique hop profile, but still tastes like an American IPA all the way through.

12 oz bottle. Pours pale gold with a very light haze and a white head. Spicy, lightly grassy hop and toasty malt aromas, hinting at fruitiness. Flavor has the spicy hops, grassy toasty notes, with kind of a bright spot of citrus/tropical fruit. Fairly interesting, not bad.
