Can sample at a tasting at Max's place. Murky yellow. Oniony hops, orange candy, vanilla, lots of alcohol, sweet and boozy, green bitterness.

Canned 12/13/21, drunk 1/20/22. Pours quite dark for an NEIPA. Reminds me of heavily oxidized pale ales, as it's a deep copper-tan. White head is small, but reasonably well-retained. Wow that's lactose-y. Vanilla-honey-cream with light, playful, orange blossom-like character behind it. Unsurprisingly, it's heavily creamy, sweet, vanilla-forward and with fuzzy, lightly bitter orange and black tea-like notes. As far as extra orange and vanilla, I kind of wish it was extra hop bitterness and extra attenuation, but what can ya do...Honestly, didn't realize this was a milkshake ipa when i bought it (literally just saw Hop Butcher, wanted to try it and grabbed the freshest can). Tough to get a sense of this brewer from this beer. To-style it seems pretty good, maybe still a bit on the sweeter side, but it's also over a month old, so I'll take that in to consideration. 9.5% seems very excessive. Dumped it out after about a third of a glass.

Can shared at Alex's Birthday. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Big orange and vanilla creamsicle aromas with some dank hop aromas. Smooth and creamy on the palate with some more orange flesh, zest and vanilla. Fairly sweet, but not too cloying. Light pithy bitterness on the backend.
