Developed after reflecting on youthful dalliances of yore, Panther Cub is a small porter aged in a combo of BLiS maple syrup bourbon barrels and regular bourbon barrels. This fierce cat has been aging in barrels for over two years with whole vanilla beans (just for fun). Tasty maple and vanilla notes plus surprisingly deep character make this rare special release one to look upon fondly.

Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla, coffee, and a bit of bourbon. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate maple syrup, wood, vanilla, coffee, and a bit of bourbon, leading to a dry woody finish.

Bottle @ Kvickly Middelfart. Pours black with a small beige head. Roast and too much fake vanilla happening. Ashes, roast, dust and maple. That vanilla is ruining it for me. A discounted feel.

355 ml bottle poured in to a Snifter. Near black with a dense creamy tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, cocoa, maple syrup, vanilla, whisky barrel and a toasted note. Taste is sweet. Full bodied. Lingering sweet finish with maple syrup and vanilla. Light boozy. Rather sweet, just enough barrel to balance the sweetness.

(Thanks, Jim! ozzy70) Bottle. A- Maple, chocolate, vanilla. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Oak, maple, vanilla, chocolate. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly boozy finish. O- All the flavors are there but they are fairly mild and it's not terribly complete. A decent sweetness. I did enjoy this but for some reason wanted more depth. Not sure how it would've aged. Still enjoyed.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, small brown head. Aroma of maple syrup and vanilla. Very sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Dominated my maple syrup, caramel and custardy vanilla. Simplistic and over sweet.

ABV: 9.2%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, maple, bourbon, barrel, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate, vanilla, maple, bourbon, barrel - vanilla. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20211127]

35,5 cl bottle @ home. Bottled 2.1.2021. Rated on 23.09.2021 Aroma has salty-ish licorice and vanilla. Flavour has vanilla, alcohol, chocolate, licorice. Finishes with sharp-ish alcohol and mild rubbery tones. Good.

12oz bottle from Brewers Haven. Black pour with a one finger beige foamy head. Aroma is roasty malts with maple syrup. Taste is lightly roasted malts, maple syrup, sweet. One adjunct done perfectly.
