Developed after reflecting on youthful dalliances of yore, Panther Cub is a small porter aged in a combo of BLiS maple syrup bourbon barrels and regular bourbon barrels. This fierce cat has been aging in barrels for over two years with whole vanilla beans (just for fun). Tasty maple and vanilla notes plus surprisingly deep character make this rare special release one to look upon fondly.

(Bottle, 0.355 l - bottled on 02.01.2021, from Alko, 20211014) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, chocolate, marzipan and sweetness. Palate was full bodied and sticky sweet with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, chocolate, marzipan, lightly cocoa powder and medium bitterness. Aftertaste had chocolate, sweetness and bitterness. A way too sweet brew with pleasant burnt notes.

Another fantastic founders beer.Pitch black colour with medium beige head.Aroma of vanilla and bourbon nice smooth and creamy with good full body and mild finish.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - black with a tan head. Sweet dark roasted malty with luxurious opulent chocolate, lots of maple and caramel sweetness flooding in, nice mouthfeel and creamy full body, vanilla laced dark sweet chocolate infused malty lingering finish. Gorgeous.

12 oz bottle from jcos, thanks Kramer! Bottled 2/1/21, consumed 9/28/21. Pours a darker brown color with medium brown head. Rich dark malts, caramel, chocolate, and vanilla. Maple, roast, and bourbon. Smooth, creamy, fairly sweet. Bit of heat on the finish, but the ABV is pretty well hidden. Tasty.

Maple sweetness with some vanilla, roasted malts, bourbon isn’t that noticeable, hmmm i get the feeling it is artificial, (had to correct it for Ceasar with his mannenpap) .. 😁

355ml bottle. Smooth, sweet and heavy with vanilla notes, maple syrup, bourbon, toffee, creamy milk chocolate and cocoa notes. Soft and balanced, pretty good.

A black beer, a head is medium, dense and light brown. Aroma has salt liquorice, some roastiness and chocolate, light bourbon. Taste has liquorice, chocolate, some vanilla, there are quite lot of sweetness, maple syrup, but it still remains pleasant, hint of barrel and bourbon. Medium+ bodied, smooth. This is very nice, smooth, but there are great nuancees.

Black with lasting light tan head. Milk choc, vanilla and maple syrup aroma, light coconut. Creamy, oily mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, maple syup and vanilla, heavy sweet malt. Surprisingly drinkable. Would have thought this to be heavier, but the vanilla and light bitterness really makes it lighter, more drinkable.

Draught @ Fox & Hounds Sønderborg @ Øllets Dag 2021. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of chocolate, lactose, malt and yeast, with hints of vanilla. Bitter, roasty onset, giving way to sweet notes of lactose, chocolate, vanilla, and malt. Mildly roasty aftertaste with notes of vanilla and lactose. Yummy! Every teddy bear would love it!
