On tap at ’Bar Brouw’. Clear, dark reddish amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, very spicy and slightly fruity aroma of caramel, cinnamon, pumpkin, some raisins, coke and pine. Sweetish, slightly bitter, very spicy and moderately fruity taste of caramel, lots of cinnamon, pumpkin, coke, some raisins and pine, followed by a short, quite bitter, spicy and dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. I quite like it, although it is very spicy, and I can imagine it’s not to everyone’s liking.

Bottle from Ship & Mitre Liverpool and drunk in my hotel room. Hazy russet colour lasting beige head. Pumpkin spices no doubt but with an underlying ipa flavour. Yes its got lots of spice ok.

Bottle. Orangey amber beer with a strong foamy head. The aroma is fruity with a little aniseed quality. The flavour is medicinal with a good level of hops providing bitterness. Overall a good but non typical IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is a cloudy orange witha large white head. Aroma is pumkin pie spice with a green hop in there. Flavor is an odd combo of pie spice and hops which dont’t work real well together. This is very bitter and has an odd aftertaste. This was a strange beer which could not make up its mind what it wanted to be.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the "Second Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest" on 10/22/2015. Hazy copper color with a medium off-white head that diminishes quickly to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of pumpkin spices and malt. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, spice and caramel malt. The finish is pumpkin pie spice and hops. Decent overall.

Draft. Deep golden amber color, medium white head. Aroma of mixed pie spice. Taste has cinnamon, nutmeg, bitter finish. Interesting variation on a theme.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy copper color topped by a large rocky beige head. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Flavor is same with a big dose of bitter hops thrown in. The hops take over leaving me to ponder what happened here. Is this pumkpin beer or an IPA? The two don’t work together here. The maltiness and spices are no match for the bitter hops.

Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub. Clear amber color, medium sized dense beige head. Smell and taste herbs, spices and pumpkin. Horrible. Not my thing at all. Bleh.

Draft. Copper color. Aroma of pumpkin and cinnamon, nice. Flavor has bitter piney hop, pumpkin spice and caramelised malt. Smells better than it tastes, but still a nice beer.
