12 fl oz bottle. Pours a hazy pinkish orange colour with a small beige head. Very sweet aroma of berries and a hint of wheat. Very sweet flavour of artificial berries, syrup and a touch of wheat. Tastes a lot like a wine cooler. Too sweet for my liking.

I’ve had this a numerous amount of times over the years and it never changes.
Here’s my notes on it.
I poured it into a pint glass.
The appearance was a ruddy almost brown to purple color with a less than one finger white foamy head that fizzles immediately. Boy, that wasted no time in dieing, ok, well, if anything, I’ll proceed. The lacing, well, ok, there wasn’t much there at all no matter how many times I’ve had this beer.
The smell, ok, well it had the \"berry\"-ness that it says it has on the bottle. Is this authentic? Hmmm...I’m not exactly sure and leave it at that.
The taste was exceptionally sweet but added a decent tart blackberry-ness to it. That’s pretty much all I can say for honesty’s sake.
On the palate, it sat about a light to medium with a decent sessionable quality running about it. The carbonation is fairly smooth.
Overall, for the most part, I guess its a somewhat smooth drinking fruit beer. Would I have this again? Probably not, there just seems something that I’m not exactly getting with this one and I can’t quite pick it out no matter how many times I have this beer. Weird, but I’ll leave it at that.

Bottle. A- Mixed berries, blackberries, sweet, medicine. A- Dark pink color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Mixed berries, sweet, slightly tart, artificial fruit, medicine. P- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, sweet finish. O- Awfully sweet and a little tart. The berry flavor is definitely artificial and gets more medicinal as you drink. The aftertaste is a little odd and funky. I like a previous reviews idea of mixing it with the summer shandy. Or maybe a shot of vodka or rum. That may help this out a lot. On it’s own, it’s just not something I care to drink much of.

Bottle @ home, picked up at RJs Fort Collins. Pours a pink/peach hazy appearance with a thin off white head. Spritzy wine cooler, blackberry, twangy aroma. Blackberry Italian soda flavor. High carbonation. I guess I could see someone who likes fruity drinks and hates beer might like this but not me.

Bottle. Jolly Rancher raspberry aroma. Hazy plum pink with a small pastel pink head. Sweet artifical berry and wheat malt flavor. Medium creamy body, moderate carbonation. Way too sweet for my personal taste.

12 oz bottle from work, given to me by my pappy. Expired a little over three weeks ago. Pours hazy orange-red with a fast-collapsing off-white head. Aroma is grainy, berry. Taste is sweet and tart, full of berry flavor. Thin body with high carbonation. This is much better than I expected. It’s a simple fruit wheat beer, it doesn’t pretend to be anything complex. It just tastes good.

Straight from the can in camp. Sweet and fruity, this is Leinie’s berry alternative to Summer Shandy (lemon). I would drink it again only if I were looking for a fuit juice with a little kick.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours an off-red with about a finger of pink-tinged head. Aroma of blackberry fading into honey. Taste is about the same. Domination berry fading into honey. Light bodied with a sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. I’m not a huge fan of fruit beers but I could drink a few of these. It is unpretentious. This beer knows what it is and doesn’t pretend to be anything else.
