A tart raspberry ale that will make you feel like you are slurping down an entire raspberry bush… do raspberries grow on bushes?

On tap at the bruery tap room. Pours out a crisp red with no head. Nose is nice big raspberry strawberries and some vinegar notes. Taste more of the nice rich jammy raspberries and a sour tartness that cuts the sweet.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear pink with a light, white foam head. Rich and tart and juicy raspberry in the aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor, impressively juicy, lightly dry and jammy, with slight pit bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Very clean on the finish, tart, with moderate sour raspberry bite and acidic tang. Very good stuff.

On tap at Watering Hole late last summer. Clear ruby red with no head.Big nose of raspberry, young strawberry with a slight hint of apple cider vinegar. Taste is more of the same with wild berry coming out even stronger than the aroma. Tart and bright on the palate with a nice sour dry finish. Hints of vinegar linger on the palate.

Growler thanks to Will. Pours a clear red with no head. The aroma is strong raspberry and cherry skin. Thin mouthfeel with nice tart raspberry and nice finish. I could drink the whole grolwer to myself, wow this is some good stuff.

Beautiful purple red color, virtually no head. The nose reminds me of the cheap raspberry juice my grandma gve me in the 80s, but more tart and dry. Slight Brett funk which I love. Fairly dry and well put together. Big raspberry notes everywhere. Big sour raspberry finish. Very very raspberry-ish, but I love it. Great stuff.

Tap. Pours crystal clear red, small pink head, no lacing. Aroma is raspberry, touch of lemon, funk. Flavor is light sweet, light tart, rasp present but not overwhelming. Light body, nice, bubbly carbonation.

On tap at Woodshop #6 (and on my kegerator). Pours with a hazy red to pink hued body and a small head. Aromas are tart, sharp raspberry. Very real fruit. Very fresh and inviting smelling. Not much aroma beyond the fruit. Flavors are tart, very fresh, with a medium sour. All raspberries and absolutely delicious. Medium bubbles, dry. Very thirst quenching. As purely a complex sour, I would not rate this nearly as high, but as a beer I want to drink, I thought it was awesome. Medium acidity, but real fruit and absolutely thirst quenching. In the heat this was more enjoyable than even Hottenroth, and that says a lot!
