From a can. Pours a mostly clear amber with an ecru head and lots of floaters. Aromas of grapefruit. Flavors are bitter mixed citrus.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear deep gold to copper with a finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Pine forward nose with some light orange and grapefruit notes. Lowish carbonation. Flavors feel a bit muddled. Lingering floral tea notes, bitter pine and light grapefruit zest. Quite bitter and resinous on the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hitchhiker on 26 Mar 2018 at 09:57 - Score: 6

Solid big hoppy IPA, a fun trip through the IBU wilderness. Aroma gives up massive chunks of grapefruit and tangerine and pine, and the pour is nice as well, slightly hazed amber-gold underneath a fluffy pillow of foam and modest lacing. Taste hits first with a semisweet citrus salad hop burst, tangerine and grapefruit marmalade slathered on bread, caramel undertones adding a necessary sweetness. Pine pops up in the middle, and the finish begins a prolonged IBU attack, clingy and resinous, floral hops melding with herb and a dry-as-a-bone bitter fade. Thick, juicy mouthfeel adds to the sticky, persistent hoppy back end. Very good bitter bomb.
