Pours black with a small tan head that quickly fades. It smells of roast malt, coffee, and chocolate. The flavor is fairly sweet with chocolate, coffee, and malt. It’s roasty though not as much as I expected. Coffee is prominent enough without overwhelming other flavors. Medium to full bodied though it’s lighter than most imperial stouts. Very good.

Can pour shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Cola brown with ring of head. Aroma is strong roasted coffee. Taste is bitter coffee, toward the charred side. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Too bitter for me.

12 oz. can. Thanks ClarkVV on the share. Can with no date. Aroma is caramel, light fruity coffee. The coffee here tastes pretty stale. Very weak roast. Hard to know the age. It doesn’t scream “fresh”.

355mL can, undated, from DrFabulous, thank you! Drunk 1/21/24. Clear, deep chestnut auburn. Small ring of dark beige bubbles. A bit peppery, beany, older coffee. Chocolate and caramel from malt. Not super inviting. Roasty, mildly bitter, malty with good attenuation. The coffee isn't super compelling for me, kinda crusty, stale, bitter. Body is lighter than the abv would suggest.

Black with a huge foamy brown head that lingered but left no lacing. Toasty, woody, a touch roasty with strong brewed coffee, cocoa and cream. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

Roast and lots of coffee. Black pour with ok head and lacing. Some caramel, some dark chocolate. Nice drinking - has a lighter feel than the percentage would make you think. Bittersweet finish. Can.

Can from J's shared at CB. Pours a deep brown with a small bit of head that dissipates. Fantastic rich, coffee forward nose that goes on and on. Watered down coffee on the palate, faint plum and muted chocolate. Thin, without much body or character. Almost no finish, abv hidden well though. Great nose though.
