A touch of wheat hazes the malt bill, softening this bright and crisp IPA. Dayglow is packed with juicy hops featuring pineapple and tropical fruit flavors and aromas. Dayglow crashes the party with the juicy beat of hops--dripping with tropical, sunshiny Mosaic and sparkling with touches of Eldorado and Centennial.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 2/12/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, orange, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, wheat, toasted biscuit, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, orange, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, wheat, toasted biscuit, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, orange, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.4%. Overall this is an awesome IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink; despite the fairly aggressive bitter/resinous/drying finish. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and dank balanced hop complexity; nice bready wheat/malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. A really enjoyable offering, loved the hop profile as expected.

Draught at Bukowski's Boston, 10/28/17.
Lightly-to-moderately hazy, brass-golden with some deep maize tints. White head atop is small, showing moderate retention.
Very fruity, with peachy-nectarine and some lightly twangy papaya surfacing. Strong tangerine-orange character with a bit of grapefruit and pine resin on the finish as well as somewhat strong honey-like malt notes.
Fairly soft, with fizzy carbonation, light mango-lime-papaya turning to pith and resin in the finish. Cereal and honey are a bit sweet and lots of tangerine, papaya and sugar sit somewhat listlessly on the finish. Still, it's clean, not doughy-yeasty or boozy and other than the propensity towards sweetness and moderate resin there is some good juiciness here.

Bottle from Craft Brewed, less than a month old. Pours a clear, light copper with a finger of foam that lingers. Pine, citrus and faint pineapple aromas. More pine and caramel. Strong bitterness on the finish. Kind of underwhelming. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dayglow IPA on 18 Mar 2018 at 00:04 - Score: 7. Random bottle that I would not normally otherwise purchase. Bottle is probably a little past its prime. Pours copper with an off white head. Aroma is grapefruity, pine and floral. Taste is fairly bitter. Hops not quite at their prime. Low sweetness.

Bottle. Very balanced ipa. Citrus notes are mild, unique hop flavor from the different blends. Quite good

My bottle says 7.4 %abv.
It pours a light gold, not much foam, going going almost gone.
Pine, grapefruit, kinda tropical fruit going on. I canβt smell any malt.
Taste is true to the smell. I feel the bitterness level is a bit high without the saving graces of any malt. I gave it chances to improve over time. Fail.
Not bad, not what I like.

From a 22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy copper with a very thick, lasting off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of tropical fruit, citrus and a bit of pine. Juicy mouthfeel with only moderate bitterness. Tasty stuff.
