A touch of wheat hazes the malt bill, softening this bright and crisp IPA. Dayglow is packed with juicy hops featuring pineapple and tropical fruit flavors and aromas. Dayglow crashes the party with the juicy beat of hops--dripping with tropical, sunshiny Mosaic and sparkling with touches of Eldorado and Centennial.

12oz bottle pours with a near clear deep gold body that supports an off white head that leaves behind some sheet lacing. The mild aroma offers up grassy hops, a bit of spicy hops and then a dash of grapefruit. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of earthy tea like hops, grassy and dank hoppiness and then a bit of floral. To midway a modest level of grapefruit hop bitterness and a sliver of mango murmurs weakly to the surface. Overall I’m really enjoying how the hoppiness comes together with no real juiciness but just nice hop flavor paired with the right amount of hop bitterness.

Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malt and very faint hops. Flavor is more of the same but with a more dry malt and faint hops. A bit too much malt for my liking.

Hazy light amber and copper coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of fresh grassy and very herbal hops with a noticeable malt backbone of subdued grain and a touch of wheat also noticeable. Medium-bodied; Strongish wheat and malt notes that show through some of the relatively mellow-ish hop elements of flowers and perfume with only a touch of bitterness near the end, but this is more malt-centric than hoppy and less strong that I imagined. Aftertaste shows the hop elements come through a touch more with only a bit of bitterness noticeable at all. Overall, a decent IPA, but nothing worth trying to find or acquire - this is ho hum, and a bit worse than Elysian usually produces. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 26-November-2016 for US$1,89 sampled at home in Washington on 19-February-2017.

This beer is a clear copper-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, melon and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

On tap at Sassy’s. Pours a cloudy copper with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is dank hop and citrus. Medium mouth, juicy, tropical fruits, dank, crushable, very good.
