Our Spring Single is our take on an obscure Belgian style, brewed by Trappist Monks for their daily sustenance. A light, dry, and hoppy finish, with fruity and spicy notes from a classic Trappist yeast, makes this the perfect companion for longer days ahead!

Draft at the source. Pours clear ale gold with a white head. Aroma and taste of Belgian yeast, spice, grass, fruity notes. Refreshing.

Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish gold with a full 2 fingers of foam that lingers. Estery nose with bubblegum and candi sugar notes. Sweet on the palate, then grassy, peppery bitterness follows. Balanced and very Belgian. I really like this and paired well with pork chops and wild greens. --- Beer merged from original tick of Spring Seasonal on 03 Mar 2018 at 21:54 - Score: 7. Tap @ Yazoo Brewery, Nashville. Hazy blonde with a thin head. Very light tasting for its strength, and inoffensive. Has some citrus fruitiness.

Good spring beer, a bit strong for the style yet nice and mellow on the palate. Nose is yeasty sweetness and grass, maybe a tinge of hops underneath. Pours a lovely bright gold with a massive white head and ample lacing. Tastes sweet, offering up apple and banana with a sugary backbone, yet with a Saison-ish spicy briskness balancing out the sweeter notes. Finishes yeasty, with a bread-like tang offsetting the mildest of hop bitterness.
