Devil's Harvest is a golden, crushable IPA with a ghostly hue. A moderate dose of oats help cloud up the beer while grabbing some hop oils from the large dry hop of Citra and Mosaic. By only using whirlpool and dry hopping techniques, we have cut down on bitterness while raising the aroma in this small 4.9% ABV interpretation.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a hazy, juicy glowing straw color with a finger of creamy foam that dissipates. Big dank nose with lots of white grapefruit and iyokan. Tons of citrus on the palate, creamy with good hops. More body then a lot of session IPAs have. Super crushable.

Can: Lemongrass, oats aroma. Milky golden, thick head, minimal lace. Lemon zest, clementine. Lemongrass finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Big improvement over the previous version of Devil's Harvest.

Decent session IPA, big and juicy massive waves of lemon-grapefruit-tropical hops and a slick, easygoing texture. But, like most Session IPAs, there’s not a lot going on beyond the hops; malts are nonexistent, and once you get past the giant lupulin slap of the front, nothing’s left for the back end save for a mild floral bitterness and a lingering citric tartness. One-note. It’s a nice note, sure, but only one nonetheless.

At a tasting, thanks, stable bubbly creamy head, hazy and just slightly deep orange color, grain and barnyard aroma with some herbs, grainy flavor with a quite strong shrubby bitterness and some fruitiness in the back. Not bad, quite drinkable.

Can. Orange caramel malt and metallic orange peel aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow with large off-white head. Mildly sweet orange caramel malt and moderately bitter earthy grapefruit peel flavor. Okay body. Not so good.

Can sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Golden. Citric hops aroma, slightly stale. Rather dry flavor, with light malt sweetness, and bitter citric hops. Quite pleasant.
