Tap. Golden in color with a medium head. The taste and aroma is nothing more than a pale ale or a IPA.

Straw colour with haze, this mosaic is earthy...the pale malts ok, maybe a bit doughy. Doesn't project any klsch character.

Not a bad beer--pretty good, actually--just not a kolsch in any way other than the name. Loads of juicy Mosaics provide berry, citrus, and herbal notes, while the grainy malts provide a subtle cereal sweetness underneath. Very light and sippable, yet the crisp, subtle balance between clean malts and bright Noble bitterness normally found in the style is trampled by the abundant 'Murrican hop overload.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a finger of creamy foam. Just a kolsch. Soft carbonation, dry mouthfeel with a touch graininess. lingering grainy finish. Bitter....light mosaic character. --- Beer merged from original tick of Mosaic IPK on 18 Aug 2017 at 20:48 - Score: 6. Original review text: Just a kolsch.
