Slightly salty, nice and tart, with a dash of dank — this shrub-touched Gose is unlike any other you've had before! Our interpretation of this german-style sour beer is crisp, light and refreshing. The malt body compliments the tartness of the brew and the hemp adds a light herbal aroma and a slight funk on the finish!

Draft pour at Goodwood Brewing, Louisville. Poured a clear orange color with a fluffy white head. Big humidor notes in this one. Herbal, with a hint of sea breeze in this one. Light and refreshing. The twist of the almost smokey note to it really made this one interesting.

Crisp clear copper and lightly ruby tinted body without much head at all, perhaps a single centimetre tall tan head that fades very quickly. Aroma of sour and tart grapes with a dash of hops, light resin, some berry funk and a lot of the briny and wheatie malt scents - strong, pungent, definitely tart and highly funky throughout. Medium-bodied; Interesting funky quality that shows strong with grapes, apples and pears with little else aside from funk that mellows out after a few seconds and begins to show some more moderate malt and yeast characteristics along with a kick from the grassy and resinous quality from the hops or the hemp? Aftertaste is light, relatively airy, but somehow still packed with some interesting flavours. The sour and tart notes show like a 'normal' gose, but the bitterness, more pungent malt and slightly resinous notes at the end show quite a bit of complexity and depth from the beer. Overall, an interesting gose that has some hemp notes that are perceivable theoretically, but more of a soured and tart beer with some funky yeast and malt characteristics throughout with a touch of potential. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia by my friend Pat on 04-July-2018, sampled at home in Washington on 19-July-2018 after watching the fireworks over our capital from home on 04-July-2018.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Tawney with small white head. Aroma is tart lemon, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is sharp tartness, herbal, and salty. Flavor don't meld for me.

Vinegar, sauerkraut nose. Hazy amber, medium yellow head. Vinegar, sage and thyme at midpalate, wheat finish. Light body, easy carbonation. Nice idea, but this didn’t sour right.

Can. Lemon juice, sour milk, biscuit malt, and herbal aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large head. Mildly sweet lemon, biscuit malt, moderately sour citric acid, and mildly bitter herbal flavor. Decent body.
