A west coast style of IPA aggressively hopped with Mosaic. This is a very unique, highly sought after hop varietal which is reminiscent of blueberry, grapefruit, and pine.

Draught at the brewery. Hazy, danky as hell, light biscuity malt character, balanced, nice IPA.

Pretty good, but nothing too exciting here. Decent showcase for the Mosaic--bubblegum, grapefruit, and soap notes come through the strongest--but lacking any defining feature to make it a go-to pint. Caramel and biscuit from the malts provide moderate sweetness, while the pinecone finish gives a welcome bitterness. Wet grain and earth grow pronounced as the beer warms. Pour orange-gold with a lasting white head and moderate lace. A bit heavy in texture, but the perky feel makes up for it. Needs some fine-tuning.

On tap at Smith & Lentz, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of tropical stone fruits upfront, with a dry biscuity malt base. Flavour is punchy and assertive, with piney hops, crisp biscuity malt and a little fruitiness. Wonderfully balanced, with deep drinkability. Excellent.

Tap at Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish gold with a small half-finger of foam. Soft peach and apricot aromas on the nose. Well-rounded on the palate with some light gummy bear notes. A little plastic-y on the finish though. Light bitterness. --- Beer merged from original tick of Mosaic IPA on 16 May 2017 at 01:12 - Score: 7. Original review text: Soft peach & apricot nose. Well-rounded mouth, some gummy bear notes. Something a tad plastic-like though. Light bitterness.

Draft. Cloudy golden body with a frothy, white head. Aroma of toasted grain, citrus, cracker, orange, light fruit, lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Citrus, grapefruit and fruit taste with a little resin. Clean IPA.
