Can at home, Nivala. Enjoyed straight from the can. Aromas and flavours: Coffee, some chocolate and roasted malts. Soft and nice.

Awesome balance and great drink. Coffee and lots of roast. Could drink this all day. Just a slight version of original, so not sure why we rate this differently. But glad always to drink this again. Bitter finish. Can. Black pour with good head and lacing.

16 oz can (no mention of 'Dark Horse Coffee', just Stout brewed with coffee) into a wine glass (twice) on 20th Dec 2019 while on holiday in California. Very dark brown body, tanned topping. Plenty of coffee esters in the aroma and coffee flavours in the taste. Carbonation seems a little high and it's not as oily or slick as I thought it might be body wise, still a very pleasant Stout though.

Svart med høyt lys brunt skum. Lukter espresso, mørk sjokolade, ristet brød og noe blomster. Fyldig. Smaker salt lakris, mørk sjokolade, bitter espresso og mørk frukt. Lang noe salt avslutning.

14.12.2018, 0,65l bottle @ home:
Nice light brown slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, dark malts, burnt toast, roasted grain, cocoa, dark sugar, sweet licorice, roasted nuts, burnt coffee, minerals, soil, hops. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, burnt toast, burnt coffee, roasted grain, minerals, bark, dark malts, roasted nuts, ashes, hops, cocoa, licorice powder. Longlasting dry bitterness, harsh sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Fair enough.
