Try to cry out in the heat of the moment. Possessed by a fury that burns from inside. The first in the experimental single hop Floy Division series. The hop character of this IPA imparts notes of pineapple, citrus, coconut, mint, stone fruit, and pine.

Not a bad IPA, but too bitter. Aroma’s quite mild, a little hops and malt. Flavor’s like nose, sweet up front with a long bitter finish. Bitterness is a little heavy on the palate.

Bottle. Orange caramel malt, sour milk, and grapefruit peel aroma. Cloudy amber with moderate off-white head. Moderately sweet orange, lime, caramel malt, and moderately bitter dry grapefruit peel/pine flavor. Okay body. Good - straight forward.

Shaker pint draft at Dutch’s Bar & Bottle Shop in CIncinnati, Ohio. The pour is a slight haze yellow golden with a small white head. The aroma is faint floral, honey caramel malt and a bit of warming alcohol. The taste is rounded, grassy floral hops, honey malt and some yeast in the finish. The palate is soft carbonation and a clean floral grass hop finish. Solid.

Bottle: Hazy yellow with a large, frothy, off-white head. Fairly mild grapefruit, resin aroma. Taste is a dry, piney/bready bitter. A bit dull....and it has a hint of almost rotten fruit that isn’t overly appealing.

Bomber from Whole Foods Wauwatosa. Hazy amber, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of mango, white grape, lime zest, pale malt. The taste is pine, mango, sweet lemon, white grape, toasted malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Love to find these beers because it always ends in my listening to the band. RIP.

Bomber from J’s. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam. Very citrus-forwrad aroma iyokan and grapeffuit leading the way. Also some light herbs, peach, melon and kiwi as it warms. Lots of gummy bear and pineapple on the palate. Creamy palate. citrus and lingering bitterness. Nice but missing that ’something’. --- Beer merged from original tick of Floy Division I on 30 Mar 2017 at 20:46 - Score: 7. Original review text: Bomber. Light iyokan, pine and stone fruit. As it warms more gummy bear and pineapple. Creamy palate. citrus and lingering bitterness. Nice

12 day old bottle picked up at the brewery. Not so far removed from the other Floy Division beers, but this is the only one I have had in the bottle. Juicy, but all some deep dank green onion. Pretty solid, respectable hop tone. Big honeysuckle resinous feel. Not unlike an amped up YumYum in a lot of respects. Slightly hazy orange body. Really a solid beer, not sure about the low rates...seems like a lot of the Floy Division beers hit distro and must not be quite as fresh? This one was solid.
