Je ne suis pas le plus grand amateur de ces IPA qui possèdent une base maltée dense. Cela amène peut-être davantage de complexité, mais je les trouve souvent plus douce et l'amertume ressentie est de fait atténuée. Cette Delirious s'en sort cependant très bien avec une amertume qui reste tout de même brillante (81 d'IBU). La brasserie Sori a donc réussi a trouvé le bon équilibre, et avec les houblons Citra, Mosaic et Simcoe nous offre de beaux arômes d'orange amère, de kumquat, de pamplemousse, de bergamote, de poivre et de résineux avec bien entendu une base douce et suave sur le miel. En verre c'est conforme au style avec un blond orangé légèrement voilé et quasiment sans mousse. Le nez se porte sur l'orange amère, le résineux, le miel, la bergamote et le kumquat. L'attaque est sur une amertume vive avec pamplemousse, résineux, orange et kumquat. La deuxième se densifie et s'adoucit sur une excellente complexité avec poivre, miel et bergamote qui s'ajoutent. L’arrière-bouche est sur une amertume brillante avec pamplemousse, poivre et orange comme principaux arômes. Le final, plus épuré est sur l'orange amère, le pamplemousse et le résineux. Bonnes longueur et corpulence, bien servies en plus par un alcool à 8,1% efficace. Pas exactement mon trip mais bonne bière.

Bottle from The Beer Cave. Hazy amber body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of candy and raspberry sauce. Flavour of pine, menthol and blood orange. Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Soft fizz. An old school, bitter DIPA.

[ As Sori Delirious ].Clear medium orange amber colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, dried fruit, moderate to heavy hoppy, resin, fruity hops, fruity, figs. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light heavy bitter with a long duration, dried fruit, hop bitter, fruity hops, caramel, pale malt, sweet malt. Caña en VI Artbeerfest Caminha 14.. 07..2018. (r111). Color ámbar anaranjado turbio con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores intensos maltosos y afrutados con toques herbáceos. Frutas tropicales. Cuerpo medio algo denso y pastoso. Buena sensación alcohólica. Buena. Para repetir.

Coppery color, off-white head with good retention, some lacing. Aroma has notes of resin hops, some orange peel. Flavor with a moderate to high bitterness, orange zest and pine. Bittery final, good maltiness.

Dark golden amber colour with lasting thin head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of perfumed, caramelised tropical fruits. Certainly some pineapple. A bit sticky. A bit of a rough, furry mouthfeel.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit, hops, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, caramel, and spices, leading to a bitter finish.
