Canned 10/12, drunk 11/9/18.
Ebony, tan head to ring. Undetermined clarity.
Very strong but delightfully fruity and rounded coffee. Strong ash below it but its not dulling. Grape and plum keep it bright and fruity with a hint of vanilla and light chocolate. Again it's low on sugar and focused on the barley character. No alcohol or flaw. I like how clearly you can smell the coffee yet it slowly and steadily becomes intertwined with the rest of the beer.
Fruity, soft and malty. Nicely attenuated with plum, currant, prune, vanilla and lingering coffee roast. Shockingly low roasted bitterness. Lovely and balanced like the base, but with a fruity, lightly earthy, incredibly flavorful coffee character. I usually don't like adding stuff to a base beer but you can't argue with this coffee addition. It's unbelievable. Low but engaging carbonation, richly soft textures and no alcohol or flaw. Damn.

Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a deep brown to black with a small bit of off-white foam that lingers. Lovely coffee forward nose with some milk chocolate notes. Smooth and creamy, with the coffee working like a caffe latte almost. Lowish bitterness, slightly sweet. --- Beer merged from original tick of Abstraction Coffee on 20 Oct 2018 at 15:27 - Score: 8

Pours a dark, oily black, with smallish tan head, that quickly dissipates. Strong coffee aroma, with some chocolate, licorice, caramel. Flavor is chocolate, coffee, caramel, dark fruit, coconut, a touch of licorice. Very smooth and lightly sweet. Almost no bitterness at all, either in the coffee or the beer. Outstanding.
