Go Play IPA sports juicy, tropical, and dank aromas, fueled by dry-hop additions of Vic Secret, Idaho 7, and Simcoe hops. Better yet, sodium and potassium help activate this motivated, lively India Pale Ale.

Can. Hazy yellow colour with a mediumsized foamy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is hay, grass, zest and some mild biscuity tones. Flavour is floral, fruity, mild grassy and some earthy tones with a mild hopburn to it.

Shaker pint draft at the hotel bar at the Magnolia Hotel in Denver, Colorado. The pour is a slight yellow light gold with a foamy white head, The aroma is resin, catty floral and some lemon. The taste is the resin floral hops along with thin cracker malt. The palate is light bodied with soft carbonation and the resin hop bitter finish.

Ever so slightly hazy golden and copper coloured body with a thinnish, two centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of stale, low alpha acid hops with a dash of fake sugars (think aspartame or saccharin) with a light grassy and herbal quality that shows some peanut butter powder and more stale earthy and nutty notes - very funky in the nose. Light to perhaps Medium-bodied; Odd and super funky malt components here with a dash of stale grain and biscuit flavours showing some yeastie and breadie notes as well and ending with a dash of salt and brine notes that are much better served in a gose than an IPA. Aftertaste shows the grass, hay, floral and fake sugar notes that are evident up front, but also some odd yeast notes and a dry finish that doesn't go well for the style with no real hops to speak of, and those that do exist, are extremely stale flavoured. Overall, a pretty poor IPA, and perhaps the other flavours make this even worse with the fake sugars way too strong and the salt notes a bit too much that overpower all the hops here. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-September-2018 for US$1,89 sampled in my hotel room here in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on 18-April-2019.

Pours gold with a lingering white head and lots of lacing. It smells hoppy with citrus and resin. The flavor has crisp bitterness and if anything tastes more bitter than the low for the style IBUs suggest. It's light to medium bodied and pretty tasty.

12oz bottle. Medium bodied, easy drinking IPA. Not sure why you would want to add sodium or potassium to a beer. I guess it adds a Gose tone, but also accentuates a bland sugary tone. Mellow faded peachy hop tone. Just doesn't come together well. Waste of a cool hop bill. Disappointing.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Orange zest and pithy white grapefruit on the nose. Bitter zest on the palate with banana, melon and lingering grapefruit. Finishes a little astringent, yeast burn-like, maybe a tad over-attenuated but still I enjoy the overall stab. --- Beer merged from original tick of Go Play IPA on 23 Sep 2018 at 12:56 - Score: 7. Original review text: Orange zest and white grapefruit pith aromas. Banana, citrus zest melon on the slate. Lingering dry, pithy bitter astringent finish. Not bad

Sample during the "Avery Event at Perfect Pour" on 06/21/2018. Hazy straw color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Stringy lace. Piney hops, tropical fruit and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of pineapple, piney hop and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a pineapple and hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

3 month old can A: Pours an inch of off white pillowy long lasting foam atop a pale lightly hazed gold. Very rich lacing. S: Faint scent of mainly tart citrus. T: Medium bitterness with pith and underripe orange hop notes.A mostly woody malt flavor with a flat papery note assumed from wheat. M: Light and fairly spritzy with a smooth "oaty" feel. O: Not bad but somehow something's missing. Hops don't pop and grains are that but seem off. Maybe it's the age of the can or maybe I don't care for the Gatorale factor.
