From tap at De Bekeerde Suster, Amsterdam. Aroma is sweetish malt, yeast, notes of ripe fruits, mild caramel, touch of dried apricot. Flavour is medium sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium. Not a bad Tripel, pleasant and easy.

Opalescent dark golden to bright orange colour, moderate sized creamy white head; aroma and taste is quite vinous-wine cellary-yeasty with some citrusy and peachy notes; not a typical tripel but not bad

Bière pression bue a Amsterdam. Après avoir dégusté la Beiaard Manke Monnik Tripel, je dois dire que j'ai eu un ressenti assez mitigé. Au départ, j'ai été séduite par les notes de malt grillé qui donnent un caractère bien marqué à cette bière belge. Cependant, j'ai rapidement déchanté en remarquant une forte présence de sucre en bouche. Personnellement, je préfère les bières plus équilibrées et moins sucrées.

Sample from tester, orange golden beer, small head. Aroma is caramel, malt, fruit, sweet. Taste is the same, sweet, caramel, light alcohol, some bitterness. Ok

On tap at De Bekeerde Suster, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out esters upfront, with candied sugar, Belgian yeast, and a little fusel alcohol. Flavour is fairly sweet, with cotton candy, esters, and candied sugar. Just too sweet and lacking depth. Not a fan.

Not like most tripels from belgium. Much softer on the palate, but strong and full flavoured nonetheless. Brewery in Amsterdam Tried again in Amsterdam, not a 3.9.
