$2.25 can, Beer Run. Pours golden with an off-white head. Grapefruit and tangerine in the nose. Flavor is green hops, mango, guava, canned fruit cocktail, citrus peel, pine. Very interesting.

Big thanks to ben for this can. Clear pale. Plain non forward IPA nose. Strong bitter IPA taste. Nasty, resinous. Over the top and down the side is the flavor. Terribly arrogant hops. A lager lover will never recover from the lingering taste of this beer.

12 ounce can into signature globe glass, canned on 12/19/2018. Pours crystal clear medium golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, sticky/resinous/rindy, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.8%. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink; with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Awesome Nugget, Mosaic, Azacca, Cascade profile. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; great bready oat/Munich malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness from crisp resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example as expected. Another awesome addition to the Voodoo Ranger IPA lineup.

Good to be #10. Tap at the Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is tropical - passion fruit? Medium body. Flavor is sort of dank tropical still seems passion fruit. Dryish. Hoppy and bitter. Gets an earthy note with time. Good.

12 oz unlabeled sample can from work. I didn't know it was part of the Ranger lineup until I tried looking it up on here. Pours clear golden with a one finger off-white head with great retention and lace. Aroma is a passionfruit and pineapple juice explosion. Taste is light to moderately bitter with tropical hoppy notes mingling with that trademark NB biscuity malt character. Finishes with a moderate lingering grapefruit pithiness. This is the best Ranger beer I've had by far.

Holy crap. Was not expecting New Belgium to produce an IPA this well-rounded and complex, but, man, Liquid Paradise is good stuff. Huge juicy front, with peach, berry, mango, and pineapple flowing across a hefty biscuit base laced with caramel. Dank and earth pop up, as does pine and grain, leading to a chewy, moderately bitter finish. Pours an unhazed gold with a lasting white head and good lacing. Nose is citrus and pine. One nice-ass IPA.
