Clear medium golden colour, good two finger frothy white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma sweet malts, grain, caramel. Flavour medium sweet and light bitter, malty, light caramel, metallic. Slightly toasted malty palate, getting more bitter leading to a sweetbitter finish, bit papery and pepper, all in all just decent.

Bottle split at GBBF ’15, day 3, thanks to Ollie Jobbins 13/08/15. Clear golden blonde with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malt, grain, paper, light grass. Taste comprises much the same. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Meh.

Bottle thanks to Ollie. Pours a pale yellow with a thinning white head. Smells grassy with a hint of lemon. Tastes malty with a little bit of citrus. Not too bad at all

Strongish Armenian lager with snow white head, golden colour and thin malt sweet taste, bit lightstruck aroma, grassy hops in an otherwise rather thin finish. I had worse in this style, I must admit.

Bottle in Yerevan. Dark golden with a white head. Medium sweet and pretty grainy. Not much bitterness, but a hint of alcohol in the finish. Definitely one best widely available pale lagers in Armenia. Usually there wasn’t a huge selection available, but Kilikia is very common, followed by Kotayk Lager and different beers from Gyumri.
