Half-liter bottle, $1.50 @ Binny’s Bolingbrook. Let us now tick off Armenia just because I found a bottle cheap. Let us also be politically incorrect by prying the cap with an Efes bottle opener. Yeek! Smell of skunk and piss in the green bottle. Doesn’t let up in the glass, but instead airs out some adjuncts. Still, a clear golden yellow with a tight white head. Well, what did I expect for the price. Taste is corn additives knocked back with bittering agents. Each swallow makes me worry about this stuff. I notice the label doesn’t go to the pretext of reprinting any medals from old beer festivals.

500ml bottle-pours a rich rocky white head and slightlyhazy gold color. Aroma is grain/bready, lime, herbal/tea hops. Taste is grain/bready/light-medium malt, herbal/spice hop with some bite, some citrus-lime. Towards medium body. Dryish. Thanks jwc215 for sharing this one.

Green bottle. Aroma of grassy hop backed by a bit of sweet malt. Brassy gold color with a pretty good size white head. Thin to medium body with coarsely creamy carbonation. Good feel. Flavor is grass and floral hop over biscuit. Not exactly crisp, but it seems clean. Finish is more bitter than sweet. Goes down well after 4 hours mucking about in the yard.

Strong bouqet of grain, honey, and skunk. Cloudy amber color, thin head, nice. Dry barley taste, weak but noticeable hops. Subtle sweet corn finish. If only macros could meet this standard, I’d have a lot more disposable income.

Bottled. Clear golden, brief head. Neutral aroma. Medium sweet with some papery malt but near no bitterness. Not very interesting.

A golden beer with a creamy white head. The aroma is sweet malty, but also with notes of straw and hints of metal from the alcohol. The flavor is sweet with straw being most dominant, but also hints of alcohol, which gives it a slight metal touch. The end is dry and bitter.
