Smaakbeschrijving

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 16 Sep 2016) Reddish amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, slightly sourish nose with caramel, red fruit and hints of cranberries. Fruity, tart taste with notes of caramel, cranberries, cowberries and red fruit. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness, low bitterness. Interesting, tasty and refreshing. Quite enjoyable.

Sampled @ Nederlands Speciaalbier Festival, Den Bosch 2016. Clear orange reddish color, small off-white head. Smell and taste sourness, like a sour-red-brown, fruitpeel / cherry and grapepeel tart. Hmm intended? It’s not bad but I wonder whether this was intended. Anyway, decent beer, but not my style.
