From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is lots of oak, cherries, vanilla, Bourbon, tart red fruits. Flavour is moderate to medium sour with a very dry finish. Body is medium. Nicely complex and oaky Bourbon sour, lots of vanilla and tart red fruits. Good!

500ml @ Black Christmas 2023 at Heritage Hall. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: American oak, some cherries and sweetness, a tad of acidity. Taste: along the same lines, cherries, some roasted malts, light acidity. Overall: good for a dark sour, but I wish it would have more barrel notes.

Poured from 500mL bottle @ Black Xmas. Brown with small beige head. Nice bourbon and cherry, oak, balanced, very nice.

4 oz draft. Aroma is sharp cherry, mild vinegar. Flavor has the sharp cherry , mild oak, light vinegary hints. It is approachable.

500 ml bottle, 8% abv. Pours murky black with a mocha colored foamy head. Barrel notes, oak, tannins, heavy red wine, port wine and marsala, amarena cherries, acetic notes, heavy balsamic vinegar, overall very funky. Acidic sourness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry acidic sour finish with lots of tannins. An opulent beverage, really great.

Dark red, near black. Sour grains, blackberries, quite sour. Cherries, cinnamon. Medium body and soft carb. Quite sharp sour, lovely dark fruits palate, bit of alcohol and laquer (paint).

Bottle shared thanks to Razvan. Very dark reddish brown with small beige head. Roasted malts, sour cherries, oak, soft bourbon, red currants, earthy. Medium sour, lighter sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. OK.

Dark pour with a tall but short-lasting tan head. Sour cherries, oak, grape vinegar. Crazy tart and acidic, quite difficult to drink.
