330mL bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out salt caramel, cocoa, and lactose. Flavour is rich, with lots of chocolate upfront, followed by lactose and cocoa. Rich and chocolatey. Good stuff.

Black colour with large beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, cardboard. Good body strength, relatively lean and dry in the front till the lactose kicks in; milk chocolate, touch of fudge, sweet nuts, round finish.

F: thin, tanned, not long lasting. C: dark with red hue against the light. A: dark malts, fruity, chocolate, cocoa, caramel. T: malty, chocolate, cocoa, red fruits, bit lactic, light oily mouthfeel, medium to full body, medium carbonation, good balanced, enjoyed, sample from bottle @ 100 pív in Bratislava (visited 28.10.).

Definitely very sweet. Chocolate dominates. But it is also a quite light beer. Mels craft beer vienna 3.6 oct 2018. Beerwulf adventkal 2020 i don’t find it as sweet as before. More salty. But clean and lots of flavour for a light beer.. still 3.6

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 24 May 2018) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with sweet espresso, liquorice and caramel. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, caramel, salty liquorice, sweet coffee and a mild roasty bitterness. Medium body, quite sweet. Really tasty, with an interesting salty liquorice touch. Possibly a touch too sweet. Nice one.
