12 oz bottle, pours clear copper gold with white head. Full bodied. Resin citrus and caramel aroma. Medium bitter taste, resinous up front then sweeter and a touch boozy at the finish. Much different than the original due to high abv, but just as enjoyable.

First time I managed to snag one. Fantastic representation of a WC IPA! Doesn’t taste like 11% so if you’re not aware you’ll be in fer a suhprize

Pine, grapefruit peel, orange, caramel malt, and alcohol aroma. Cloudy amber with large light tan head. Moderately sweet orange, caramel malt and strong bitter pine and grapefruit peel flavor. Great body and balance - not overly sweet. Mildly boozy finish but hides its strength well. Nice.

Bottle thanks to Drake! Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Floral hops, stone fruit, citrus peel, pine, resin. Flavor is deep pine, fermenting peach, resin, grapefruit peel, floral hops. Big.

12 ounce bottle. Honey gold color. Frothy white head. R shiny pine nose. Bittersweet toasted malt toffee flavor upfront. Huge hop blast has notes of pine and green onion. Sweet syrupy malt finish. Intense aromatics and flavor. Very similar to Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA.

Bottle. Copper body with a white head. Some citrus hop aroma with caramel malt. The flavor is sweet malt with just enough hop bitterness to keep the sweetness in check. Not bad, but I think I was expecting a bit more.

Yum. Reminds me of a troubled night many years ago.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is lightly hazy orange-light brown with decent sparkle finger -width beige head with fair retention and light lacing. Aroma is lemony citrus with mild astringency and bready/caramel malt backbone. Taste is mix of lemony citrus candied sugar and bready/caramel malt with some alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth somewhat thick texture average carbonation and finish as taste with some alcohol astringency. Overall I suppose it delivers on being a slightly amped up version of Two Hearted but the extra booziness outweighs the extra flavor.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/22/2019. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy cream colored head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big ruby red grapefruit, mandarin orange juice, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, pine, honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/fairly earthy hops and dark/bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge ruby red grapefruit, mandarin orange juice, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, pine, honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of ruby red grapefruit, mandarin orange juice, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/fairly earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and spicy alcohol. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Mild increasing warmth of 11% after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic DIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/fairly earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the huge ABV, with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; great soft feel and not overly aggressive. Amazing Centennial showcase as expected. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized balancing malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding Midwest style example as expected. Did not really prefer it over the regular overall. More candied-like citrus and a bigger malt backbone; but just as balanced from the extra hops.
