Dit zware witbier heeft een bijzondere toevoeging, buiten het feit dat het bier 6,3% is in plaats van 5%. Tijdens het rijpen van het bier zijn er Hibiscus Bloemen toegevoegd. Deze bloemen geven een zure toon aan het bier een een kenmerkend aroma. Iedere editie van de Stripdagen wordt een tekenaar uitgenodigd om een ontwerp te maken voor het etiket maar ook om een keuze te maken voor het bier dat hij wil laten brouwen. Dit jaar is Hanco Kolk de gelukkige geweest van de strip S1ngle.

On tap at ACBF’16 with Borresteijn, Kermis, Zlotta & the Queen of Whales. Pinkish color, hazy. Dense white head, but not much of it. Aroma’s: fruity, grain, wheat. Retronasal there’s wheat, sourness, fruit. Flavor is light sweet, light sour, yeasty. Medium bodied. Light bitterness in the finish.

Draft at Amsterdam Craft Beer Festival. Very hazy pinkish orange with a white head. Aroma of light fruits, peach, yeast and spicy notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from tap at Amsterdam Craft Beer Fest 2016. Hazy, pale orange with a white head. Sweetish, fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of peach, hibiscus, some banana and clove. Sweetish, fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy taste of banana, peach, hibiscus and some clove, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
