Draught at Khyber Pass: pours hazy yellow with white head. Herbal, minerally, vegetal nose. Taste is sweetish, lightly funky. Lasting aftertaste.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong earth, salt, funk, brine. Slick body, oyster, salt, brine, earth, dry finish, unique, very nice.

Bottle pour at State of Origin. Pours a clearish straw gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Cracked wheat, estery yeast notes, grass and lemon on the nose. Smooth and clean on the palate, with a softer carbonation. Lemon, white grapefruit and hay. Maybe some light briney notes on the palate and finish. Quite muted though, but still a great saison.

Sample at the taproom. Cloudy yellow color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of yeast, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of fruity yeast, grainy malt and a hint of briny oysters. The finish is fruity with a yeast and salty citrus. Pretty unique, and above average overall.

75cl bottle @ Finissons ces pétroles tasting, merci Niels. Bottled 11/2015.

Location: Draft at the brewery, 1/4/15

Aroma: The aroma is heavy yeast/spice, with some mild saline
Appearance: Pours a cloudy yellow-white color, small white head, light lace
Flavor: The flavor is along the same lines, balancing the saison yeast/spice and the saline
Palate: It has a fairly lively carbonation, and a dry, tingly finish
Overall Impression: This one is almost a saison/gose hybrid. Which is kind of a brilliant idea. I really enjoyed it.
