Bottle @ home. Brown color. Malty caramelly aroma. Malty buttery caramelly and earthy bitter flavor. Malty yet dry and full of character.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 7C). Bottle 50 cl - Batch 0822 (BBF 13.08.19). AROMA: medium malt aroma with a slight toasty note. APPEARANCE: amber color and translucent. medium ivory head, moussy, with average retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low malt flavor with a slight toasty note. medium-low bitterness almost balanced (slightly towards malt). finishes almost dry. PALATE: medium to medium-light body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a nice vollbier with extra notes.

Crystal clear amber. Malt forward, but still somewhat thin on the body, possibly a bit oxidized at 6 months old. D&S Dresden

0,5 l bottle from our local Hol' Ab! market. Dark red golden nearly copper and clear in the glass with a mighty more than two finger pale beige frothy head. Smells malty with some sweetness. Taste is malty, spicy, some caramell. Low increasing bitterness. Nice stuff.

Many thanks for this beer to Mariusz. Ach ta Frankonia, ciagle mnie zaskakuje, myslalem ze to będzie przeciętne piwo, a było dużo lepiej. Piana spora, lecz opada szybko, barwa miedziana, klarowny kellerbier, to mnie zaskoczylo, Smakowo czuc tu nieco karmel i bulke tarta, trochę tostow i ten wedzonawy delikatny posmak.
