3/4/2020. Can from The Tuppenny, Swindon as Cardamom & Rose Summer Stout (purchased 6/4/2019). Pours black with a beige head, which was quite short lasting. Aroma picks up nicely on the cardamom, lightly herbal and indian spiced with a little kaffir lime, light roasting, chocolate and floral notes. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with a light herbal tarty edge. Medium body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Worked for me.

Can: Poured a black with a huge light brown head. Aroma is rich with roasted malts. Taste is sweet, rich and bold all in one lots of malts, milkiness. Candy bar finish on the palate.

33cl can from Beer52. Medium creamy beige head. Clear deep amber pour. light bitterness and choclolate.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from Clapton Craft. Pours black-brown with a quickly fading beige foam head. Nicely integrated adjuncts, some floral/rosey notes, pleasant bittersweet cocoa, soft roast, a little charcoal, earth. Medium bodied, slightly oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with rounded chocolate character, a little rose accent, mellow earthy bitterness. Good one.
