Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and butter, with notes of malt and touches of dia. Bitter, hoppy flavour with estery, malty and metallic notes. Touches of dia. Rough, estery aftertaste with metallic touches. Well, not quite my bottle of beer.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and quickly diminishing frothy head. Slightly bready and grainy malty aroma with a delicately oxidized touch, accompanied by hints of grassy and woody hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Bready and slightly buttery malty base with drying, mildly grassy hops; distinctively grainy towards the finish. Surprisingly drinkable. 24.VII.17

0.5 l bottle from local ’LIDL’, best before November 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, moderately grassy-spicy aroma of straw and grains with a touch of vanilla and honey. A bit sweetish, slightly bitter, moderately grassy-spicy taste of grains, straw and some vanilla, followed by a short, medium bitter, moderately grassy-spicy and unfortunately quite metallic finish. Thin to medium body, moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Not bad, definitely drinkable, but way too metallic in the finish.

Lahev (@Lidl Kraft Bier Korner, Bermuda Triangle):Clear, golden, small and stable white head; grainy and slightly buttery nose, only tame hoppy aromas, peppery ŽATECKÝ POLORANNÍ ČERVEŇÁK barely detectable; clean and moderate bitter-sweet flavour, malty base at least detectable, light bodied, not watery at all; slightly lingering - konečně! - mild Saazy finish with molecular traces of balancing pale malt. Not the worst Czech Pilsener and - regarding its price - far better than the usual suspects from Germany...

bottle from a local Lidl in Germany. Clear golden with a mid-sized white head. Hoppy nose, not too promising. Medium-bodied, good malty base, good Czech hops. Classic lager. Not brilliant, but a good everyday lager.
