Bottle picked up from a supermarket and consumed at home, Attenkirchen, Saturday 25th May 2019. Pours orange/gold with a white head. Malty and a little boozy on the nose. The flavour is malty and again it's boozy, some overipe fruit, it's ok.

Bottle at a tasting with MisoW and Cuso. Relatively simple beer, moderate sweetness, late moderate bitterness, but overall light funky spicy belgium. Typical simple tripel. Good but not great.

660ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Bready and biscuity, sweet-ish malty and fruity aroma, notes of dried fruit and honey, apricot, raisin. Taste is sweet malty, alcoholic, minimally fruity, hints of dried fruit, apricot, raisin. Rather simple and monotonous, boozy.

Bottle 66 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a rich and frothy white head with good retention. Nose is fruity and yeasty - very Belgian. Medium body, very sweet fruitiness, heavy on the esters, clove, paint thinner and perfume with a massively boozy finish. Somewhat raw and in your face, but the craftmanship is immaculate. 051017

Bottle: Deep golden with an orangey sheen, lots of floaties visible, small but persistent creamy off-white bead; typical fruity orangey-yeasty nose with traces of turpentine (necrotic yeast), pale malt and traces of alcohol underneath; moderate to solid sweet flavour, some bitterness underneath, full bodied; lingering sweet-bitter finish with distinctive alcoholic traces and a taste of mushrooms in the aftertaste.Drinkable, not great...
