Shared bottle at home. Pours hazy amber with small off-white head. Aroma of fruit esters, banana, peaches, metallic, some alcohol. Taste sweet and fruity with very little bitterness. Some alcoholic warmth.

330 ml bottle. Amber coloured. Almost no foam head when poured into Trappist glass. Aroma of honey, overripe and dried fruits. Taste is rather sweet with slight bitterness. Alcoholic taste is quite dominant and not pleasant. Aftertaste is also dominated mostly by alcohol. Carbonation is soft. Not very balanced. Needs more fine-tuning.

Bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is apple skin, musty, pale malts, biscuits, phenolic, boozy. Taste is musty, dough, fussle oils, boozy finish. High carbonation, heavy mouthfeel. Too unbalanced, too much fussle oils.

May ’15. A 0.66 l bottle from Getränke Walter store, Munich. It poured hazy orange body with medium sized head. Honey and yeast aroma, quite simple. Sweetish flavor, plainly honey and vanilla. Medium to full bodied with moderately long, generally sweet finish. Okay, but could be more complex and better executed for the style.

Bottle @ Home. Pours orange golden with a small creamy offwhite head, some light floaties. Aroma of malt, caramel, sugar, honey, some sweet dried fruit, apricot, green apples, alcohol. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, honey, white sugar, sweet fruity, loads of alcohol. Medium to full body, average to lively carbonation, sweet finish with lots of warming alcohol. Bottle. Cloudy orange amber, some floaties, low white lace. High on the fermenting fruit salad notes, light phenolic aroma. Sweet, honeyish, light boozy start, pears, mango, old apples. Medium full, sticky mouthfeel. Needs to dry out some more for my taste.

Bottle, small stable creamy head, hazy intense gold to orange color, aroma of vanila, banana and spices, flavor of waffle and fruit, quite strong sweetness and bitterness, light sourness. Heavy and not too balanced. Drinkable but not that great.
