0.15 l on tap at ?Craft & Draft?. Slightly hazy, dark brownish red with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, tan to brown head. Sweetish, slightly roasty, a bit smoky and minimally fruity aroma of caramel, chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut, some smoke and hints of red fruits. Sweetish-malty, roasty, slightly smoky taste of caramel, chocolate, some coffee, smoke and some peppers, followed by a short, slightly roasty-bitter, moderately smoky finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, the peppers are fortunately not that dominant.

On tap at Beer Temple. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of smoked peppers, pepperoni sausage, roasted malts, tobacco, hint of tar. Flavour is light smoke, light pepperoni, roasted malts, coffee, light tar, caramel, bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Works well.

Tap @ Beer Temple, small sample. Hazy dark brown color, short frothy head. Aroma of slight smoke, bit sausage, roasted malts, hint of pepper, bit wood. Draft at Stoom. Near black with a medium tan head. Aroma of roast, chocolate and toffee. No pizza unfortunately, or pepperoni. It’s fairly light but decent. Flavour above is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Kompaan. Clear dark brown, nearing black, with light tan head. Roasted chocolate malts, dark chocolate, pure cocoa. Light sweet. Light bitter. Quite dry porter, with no notes other than roasted chocolate malts. I expected some pepper(oni) at least but it’s quite plain. Pretty decent nonetheless!
