In de tuin uit een blikje. Gele kleur, wit schuim. Wat gist in de geur. Smaak is half weizen, half hoppig, maar van beide daardoor misschien wat vaag. Wel dorstlessend.

@home poured into a shaker. Hazy yellow golden colour, tall frothy white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma wheat, lemon, light strawberries, banana, red grapefruit, cloves. Taste light to medium sweet and light bitter, wheat, lemon, grapefruit, grassy hops. Light body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, mild dryish sweetbitter aftertaste, thirstquencher, orange pith, bit chalky, though lacking some bitterness needed for the style very nice.

On tap at Haandfest. It's an almost clear yellow to golden colored beer with a minimal sized white head. The aroma has citrus zest, pine cones, wheat notes, pale malts and a touch of banana and cloves. It has a light bitterness, it's medium to full bodied, dry and nicely carbonated, with citrus and pine cones doing most of the flavor work. Pale malts in the back, and a hint of banana and cloves too. Lasting fruity finish. A bit dull this one, but pleasantly easy drinkable. 190503

Bottle. Bb 9/21 which seems pretty optimistic. Barely hazy gold with a dense white head. Aroma of mandarins, spices, crackers. Lacks the softness of a hefeweißbier but there' a bit of a wheaty twang along with the oranges and there are certainly appropriate spices along with the higher bitterness at the end. A mixture that didn't really do it for me.

Fles 33cl bij Het Refter in Zwolle. Fruitig, hoppig, licht kruidig, wat droog. Meer APA dan weizen. Prima te drinken. (14-9-2019).
