500ml white Can from Lidl. No i moze na sam koniec jeszcze umylem szklanke.

Can from the Lidl. Pale blonde. Only a hint of Apple in the aroma. Grainy flavor with Apple Thin. Water tastes better.

50cl can at home (23 VIII 2019), as Mount Eagle American Lager Style. Quite a sharp looking can with the American eagle, a stylish portrait actually hiding a very modest, common and cheap lager. A very thick, snowy and frothy white collar tops the brew - almost looking like whipped cream. Underneath, the pale, clear and vivid yellow golden brew. The nose already has many corn, malt and yeast flavours, which should be genuine for discounter canned brews. Yet, there are some other notes in there as well, with syrup and a vague fruity character - think of mandarine oranges or even peaches. Alltogether, there seems to be a lot of lager sweetness in there. The mouthfeel has nothing surprising to tell, alas. The corn start and lingering hay and yeast dashes are overwhelming, only making up for some sour hints and a quenching yet not that bitter ending. The carbonation is somewhat hidden, the taste maybe gets a few creamy hints (but I'm not sure). The sugarness and sweetness expectations do not set forth - this is a good thing, I believe. The fruity nose has been sacked by a grassy tongue and lots of straw. Paper and cardboard scents as well. The ending is disappointing, notwithstanding it is not terrible in any way. Yet, this is a mild American lager, and on top: a classic supermarket not-that-tasteful pale lager without treats.

50cl can from Lidl, Ghent. Pours clear pale golden with a lasting, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of yeast, grain, white bread, corn syrup. Taste is light to medium grainy bitter, sweetish maize & yeast underneath, leading to a dryish, yeasty, faintly grassy hoppy finish. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Cheap but quenching.

Can, Mount Eagle American Lager Style. Shiny pale piss yellow-golden body, white head. Mild, dull, sweetish grainy-malty aroma. Empty taste, that same grainy-malty dull and sweetish touch is in the quite empty taste, with vague herbal, almost vegetal hop touches, alcohol like touch in the finish, some carbonation. I mean... way to go trying to pass off a shittier than average lager as something different?
