Draft at beertemple. Aroma of hops, malt and pine. Taste of soft malt, pine, grassy hop and some fruit. Solid.

Draught @ BeerTemple, Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 250, Amsterdam, Netherlands 1012 RR. [ As Bagby Hop Crop Pale Ale ].Clear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, nutty, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, earthy hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, nutty, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160902]

Tap @ Beer Temple, sample size. Clear deep golden color.Big white head, leaving lace rings. Aroma’s: nice resinous, malty, nicely balanced, some sweetness & hoppy sourness. Retronasal there’s more resin, less malt, light bitterness, rather mild. Flavor is rather bitter with light malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied. Firm bitter finish, rather dry. One of the better beers from Bagby so far.

Draft at Beer Temple. Clear orange with a medium white head. Aroma of fruity hops, biscuity malt and light cardboard notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Clear, golden amber with a frothy, off-white head. Sweetish, fruity-resiny aroma of mango, orange jam and pine. Sweetish, fruity-resiny taste of mango, orange jam and pine, followed by a short, moderately resiny-bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

2015 edition on tap at Bagby’s place. It pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma is floral with hints of grain and sweet graham crackers. The flavor is very flowery with some hints of caramel. Bright herbal and floral garden notes. Hints of pine in the finish. Good body and carbonation. Nice.

Keg at Bagby, Oceanside, 14/11/14. Clear golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric sherbets, light floral notes, orange pith, straw. Taste comprises orange pith, light perfumed flavour, soft bread dough, bitter citric rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with grassy hop bitterness. Adequate APA.
