Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 13.07.18. Pale mahogany. Beige head and lacing. Aroma and taste of medium dark malt, pine and herbs. Medium bitterness. Fresh pine shoots and bitterness in long aftertaste. Good!

0,33 flaske fra Statens helsekostutsalg på Kvaddå, delt med skibsrederen før dagens båtpuss juli-18: klar rødlig mahognyfarge med fint skum som varer. Rugsyre, røde bær, urter mørk karamell og hint av kaffebønner. Saftig ettersmak med deilig bitterhed. Arbeidslysten kom med en gang!

Bottle from Waitrose. Clear amber body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of fig, candy and cranberry. Flavour of floral hops, wood and red fruit. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. I love a strong, hoppy Amber Ale, and this really hit the spot.

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Mørk gylden. Høyt luftig skum med litt farge. Daler sakte. Aroma av malt & krydder. Smaken syrlige bær & malt. Litt tørr kjeks etter hvert.

Ølfestivalen København. Dark amber with a lasting off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus peel and a touch of toffee. Sweet malty flavour with a fruity touch and a slightly dusty, oxidised note.

Tap at Bishops Arms Östersund. Classic ale smell. Nice deep bitter colour. Some warming glory in the old hops here. I feel that if I had more than a taster, it would be a huge grower. Shall see. Bottle from Systembolaget. Caramel like smell. Gorgeous ruby colour. 3.2 to 3.4. This rating might not do this beer justice to be honest as I really enjoyed it this time. It tasted like a meaty bitter, really did the job.

Klar kastenjerödbrun färg med stabilt smutsvitt skum. Blommig, örtig och brödig doft. Fin kropp med rejäl maltstomme med den där lite peppriga rågkaraktären möter en fin blommig aning citrusfruktig humle perfekt. Klassiskt brittisk men samtidigt modern. Det bästa av två världar möts och harmoni uppstår. Jag märker att jag ler efter första klunken och känslan finns kvar tills glaset är tomt och raggmunkarna uppätna. Ett öl jag skulle kunna dricka igen och igen som alls inte sticker ut utan bara är det perfekta vardagsölet. Mycket gott.

Lovely clear amber color with a fine thick head. Good lacing. Looks nice and inviting. Ok intensity in the aroma. Fine body and a mellow carbonation level. Pleasant to drink. Balanced sweetness. Bready, fruity, herbal and some spices in the flavor.
