Keg at the brassao restaurant. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a a sticky frothy white head. Aroma is sweet raisin, apple, berry, cakey malts. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy, rounded raisin, tart apple,. Boozy fruit. Palate is semi sweet, tangy, moderate carbonation. Ok.,

Has an okay orange and lemon aroma. Good head and foggy golden body. Flavour is decent lager stuff with hints of grain and lemon. Mouthfeel is medium at best. It’s an okay brew with some good aspects fighting the bad.

Clear golden wth a white head. Aroma of light caramel, malt, light Brett notes, barnyard and light fruit. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with above moderate carbonation.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Sovina Bock ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, cookie, sweet malt, herbs notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151121]

Re-rating (previous 2.1) Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 4C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L02/19 (BBF 30/11/2021). AROMA: medium-high sweet malt aroma, grainy, with low cereal husk. no hop aroma. medium-low alcoholic background with a slightly warm character. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and hazy with material in suspension. medium-low white head with medium retention. TASTE: inital medium to medium-high grainy-malty sweet flavor. medium bitterness with a dry finish. slight husk and acceptable faint sulphur. MOUTHFEEL: medium to medium-low body with low carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: an ok helles bock.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting, my house. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, grass, sugar, malt and hops. Sweet and light bitter finish.
