Keg at the Colossus taproom, Porto, 28/10/22. Clear golden with a moderately appointed white cap that thins to nyadda. Nose is herb, grains, straw, lemon jelly. Taste comprises tangy citric zest, soft malts, vanilla, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Sub par ... sweet, flabby and not like any Hefe I've had before!

Hazy golden colour, minimal off-white head; aroma of lemon zest, wheaty, grassy and some fruity, as well as vegetables notes; taste is similar to the aroma; not really good as a weizen

Some lemon and a little peel. Golden pour without much head. Light tangy lemon finish. Easy drinking, just not a ton going on here. Bottle.

Re-rating (previous 3.4) Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 10A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L04/19 (BBF 31/03/2021). AROMA: medium acidic note, followed by faint cereal husk. APPEARANCE: light gold color and clear. medium-low white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low yeast and sourness. medium-low to low bitterness. finishes almost dry. PALATE: medium-low to low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a weissbier with notes of contamination.

F: thin, white, quick gone. C: gold, hazy. A: malty, wheat, orange peels, bit fruity, bit yeasty. T: malty, wheat, sour fruity, bit orange, bit banana, quite messy, not good balanced, not according the style, not enjoyed, medium body, lower carbonation, 33cl bottle from Supercor supermarket @ Rua de Aleixo da Mota in Porto.
