Opaque dark brown colour, large frothy tan head, collapses slowly, patchy lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, cocoa, liquorice, coffee. Taste light sweet and bitter, roasty, chocolate, bit salty, with average to long duration. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, a bit thin sweetbitter aftertaste, chocolate and spicy notes in the finish. Not well-balanced, has some weak moments in taste and palate, acceptable.

Tasted from the tap on the 09/12/2015. Dark red brown colour with some lazing white head. Aroma of roasted malts. Malty and acid taste. Not a top class stout. Next one please!

Bottle from El Cortes Ingles, Lisbon. It pours darkest brown with a small dark beige head. The nose is earthy roast, coffee, mild smoke, tobacco and chocolate. The taste is slightly tart/acidic upfront, dark fruits, roasted malt, earth, coffee and charred stuff with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not sure on that tart/acidic bite upfront.... So-so.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark ornagey brown with a huge, beige head. Massive and almost unstoppable gusher. Tart yoghurt aroma, clearly a lactic infection going on here. Light body, excessive carbonation, massively tart. An utter mess. 290115
