Black with thin creamy head. Aroma and flavour have an intense roasted malt bitterness. Elements of coffee and treacle. Decent body and a fairly creamy texture.

Thank you for sharing tderoeck! Sampled draft @ VCBF 2017. Black, creamy mocha bubbles. Nose is dull mocha cereal, stale herbal, leaves, grainy. Taste is rather bland, low umami, cereal, raw mocha, grains, sweet. Too grainy, thin, rather weak, nothing bad.

11/VI/17 - from bottle @ Vleteren Craft Beer Festival - BB: n/a (2017-907) Thanks to 77ships and kraddel for sharing today's beers!
Clear dark brown to almost black beer, creamy beige irregular head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, cow fodder, soft roast, coffee, bit metallic. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: roasted, very roasted, bitter, hoppy, malty. Aftertaste: bitter hops, lots of coffee, roasted, bit metallic, dry bitter finish, some malts and cow fodder. Would've expected a bit more smoother / creamier beer when it's an oatmeal stout...

Negra, espuma beige exagerada, tarda en bajar, cuesta servirla. Aroma tostado, notas de chocolate. En boca resulta demasiado gaseosa pero el sabor no esta mal. Tostada, seca, chocolate, ahumada. Acidez frutal.

Draught@Craft Beer Helsinki. Deep amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is nutty, some beer poops, mild berries and also molasses. Flavour is berries, fruits, some acidic wood and mild spices. Rather messy and harsh.

Did it just warm up in this hotel room? Germany’s hawt, that’s gotta be it! But this pours with modest brown head and black body, head could be larger I guess. Nice aroma of smoked meat, coffee, leather, coffee. Flavour is a lot of heavy coffee, dark wood branches, some smoked hints. Not watery on the mouth surprisingly, that’s usually a n00b mistake I notice right away, but could be better for a stout. Overall it’s pretty good, decent stouty flavour, a step up from the last two I tried from this brewery.
